Poetry: “Half Love”

Half Love                           by: Rose Clifford

She never thought she had you,

At least not in the way she was told she would-

Completely, and undeniably.

His heart held a vacant love — hallow,

Made especially for her,

While he was giving the contents of his bruised heart,

To another to mend and heal all over again.
