Poetry: “Stripping Me Bare”

Stripping Me Bare                by: Rose Clifford

My body drowning in the masses,

The sea of scrutinizing faces.

Eye’s staring, pointing, judging-

The very body I must take comfort in.

The itch of this skin stretching over limbs,

This crowd enjoys stripping me bare.
