Poetry: “Strangers”

Strangers                   by: Rose Clifford

A stranger, you came into my life,

A sorry boy constructed with self-hate.

A stranger, I entered your life,

A melancholy girl who lived on insecurities.

As strangers, we left each other’s lives,

Hopefully better than the start.
